Committed to innovation
Airbus Crisa is committed to experimental innovation, focusing on the development and implementation of new ideas, products, services or processes, where the emphasis is on learning through experimentation.
In this area of innovation we work on projects within the AI and Data Science and 3D printing laboratories.
AI and data science lab
SEAL Project (Space Electronics Analyses Learner) is a project that encompasses Cloud Computing and Artificial Intelligence for the improvement, scalability and computational efficiency of electronic circuit simulation.
A functionality has been implemented to digitalize parts of the electrical design process and to generate, simulate and process electrical analysis data.
The objective is to improve agility in the product development cycle, thus enabling rapid iteration and validation of concepts.
This project is financed through European Next Generation funds.

3D printing lab
Airbus Crisa has launched the Mechanical Printing Lab to make it easier for anyone to use 3D printers.
Thanks to our 3D printing laboratory we obtain:
- Speed in the development of prototypes.
- Cost reduction.
- Personalization of parts.
- Design validation.
- Project lead time reduction.
- Experimentation with new materials.
- Keeping up to date with the latest technological advances.
One of the goals is to create materials suitable for flight that are qualified for such use with 3D printing.
